How to delete your VOOK Audio account and personal data — in the app or by request — and exactly what is removed.
Before You Delete
Deletion is permanent — read this first
This page explains how to delete your account and personal data for the VOOK Audio app, operated by Buy Box Retail (Brand: VOOK). For full detail on how we handle your data, see the App Privacy Policy.
Your account, your uploaded and enhanced files, and any remaining credits are removed and cannot be recovered. If you want to keep your enhanced files, download them before deleting your account.
Delete in the App — fastest
Remove your account directly from your phone
- Open the VOOK Audio app and sign in.
- Go to Profile and tap Delete account (shown in red, below Log out).
- Review what will be removed on the Delete Account screen.
- In the confirmation box, type “DELETE” to enable the button.
- Tap Delete account permanently.
Your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out. Any enhanced files you have already saved to your phone stay on your device.
Request by Email — no app needed
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in
- Email support@vook.in with the subject line “Account deletion request — VOOK Audio app”.
- Send it from the email address registered to your account (or, for phone-based accounts, include your registered phone number). This is how we verify the request is yours — we may ask a follow-up question to confirm.
- We will confirm once deletion is complete, within 30 days of verifying your request.
What Gets Deleted
Removed from our active systems
- Your account and profile (email, phone number, name, profile photo)
- All audio and video files you uploaded, and all enhanced results
- Your enhancement history and notification records
- Any remaining credits (credits are not refundable on deletion)
- Your push-notification registration
Separately, the files you upload for enhancement and their results are automatically deleted 7 days after processing in any case — deleting your account simply removes everything at once.
What May Be Retained
Records we are required to keep, and for how long

| Purchase & tax records | Required by Indian law (up to 7 years for GST/accounting). These are transaction records, not your files or profile. |
| Support correspondence | Past support tickets may be retained for our records; ask us in your deletion request if you want these removed too. |
| Crash diagnostics | Anonymised crash logs age out automatically within 90 days. |
Everything else — your account, profile, uploaded files, and enhanced results — is removed from our active systems as part of deletion.
