Coverage Overview

What's covered, for how long, and when it starts

Every VOOK microphone comes with a 1-year limited warranty that protects you against manufacturing defects under normal use. There's nothing to activate — your coverage begins automatically the moment your order is delivered.

Do I need to register?

No. Your VOOK warranty activates automatically when your order is delivered. You don't need to register the product, create an account, or enter a serial number. Simply keep your proof of purchase — your vook.in order number or invoice — and you're covered for a full year.

What's Covered

Genuine faults, under normal use, within the warranty period

If your microphone develops a genuine fault during the 12-month period, you're covered for a repair or a replacement at no cost. Coverage includes:

Manufacturing Defects

Faults in materials or workmanship that appear under normal use — eligible for repair or replacement at no cost to you.

Hardware Malfunction

A transmitter, receiver, or charging case that stops working through no fault of your own under normal, intended use.

Charging & Power Faults

A unit or case that fails to charge, hold a charge, or power on because of a defect — not ordinary battery ageing over time.

Pairing & Connectivity

Defect-related failure to pair, sync, or hold the wireless link within the product's rated range.

Section 03

What's Not Covered

Damage and wear that fall outside normal use

A warranty protects against defects — not damage, loss, or wear. The following are not covered. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 for genuinely defective goods.

Physical & Accidental Damage

Drops, crushing, bent connectors, or damage from misuse and mishandling.

Liquid & Water Damage

Exposure to water, sweat, rain, or moisture beyond normal everyday use.

Normal Wear & Battery Ageing

Cosmetic marks, scuffs, and the gradual loss of battery capacity that comes with use over time.

Unauthorised Repair or Modification

Damage caused by opening, modifying, or using non-VOOK parts or accessories.

Lost, Stolen & Consumables

Lost or stolen products, and consumable parts such as wind muffs and ear tips.

No Proof of Purchase

Units without valid proof of purchase, or bought from unauthorised sellers.

How to Make a Claim

From the moment you submit to the moment it's resolved

Most claims are sorted over email or WhatsApp. Have your order number and a short clip of the issue ready — it helps us help you faster. Here's the full journey:

Submit Claim

Send your order number, the issue, and a photo or short video — via the claim form, email, or WhatsApp.

STEP 02

Verification

We confirm your purchase and that it's within the 12-month window. Instant for vook.in orders; a quick invoice check for authorised-seller purchases.

STEP 03

Inspection

We review your photos or video — and, if needed, the unit itself — to pinpoint the fault.

STEP 04

Approval

Once a covered defect is confirmed, we approve the claim and contact you — usually within 5–7 business days — with next steps.

STEP 05

Repair or Replacement

We repair the unit, or replace it with an equivalent new or refurbished one, at no cost to you.

STEP 06

Resolution

Your mic is back in your hands and the claim is closed. You're recording again.

How long is the VOOK warranty?

12 months from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing defects under normal use.

Do I need to register my product?

No. Coverage is automatic with your proof of purchase. There's no registration, serial number, or account required.

What proof of purchase do I need?

Your vook.in order number, or the invoice from an authorised seller. That's all we need to verify your coverage.

Is a purchase from an authorised seller covered?

Yes — purchases from VOOK's authorised sellers are covered with a valid invoice. Coverage does not apply to units from unauthorised sellers.

What if my product can't be repaired?

If a covered unit can't be repaired, we replace it with an equivalent new or refurbished unit.

Are accessories and consumables covered?

Defects in included hardware are covered. Consumable and wear items — such as wind muffs and ear tips — are not.

How long does a claim take?

We contact you within about 5–7 business days to confirm the next steps for your specific case. Repair or replacement timelines are shared at that point.
