About These Terms & VOOK
Who we are and what this agreement covers
VOOK is a brand of Buy Box Retail ("we", "us", "our"), a partnership firm registered in India at First Floor, Khasra No-27/19, Plot No-04, Raju Enclave, Sector-14 Dwarka, New Delhi – 110078. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Buy Box Retail governing your use of vook.in, the VOOK App, and all VOOK products and services (collectively, the "Services"), in accordance with applicable laws of India.
These Terms are to be read together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Cancellation & Refund Policy. In the event of a conflict, these Terms prevail unless a specific policy expressly states otherwise. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Acceptance of Terms
How you agree to these Terms and who may use our Services
By accessing vook.in, downloading or using the VOOK App, placing an order, or otherwise using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using our Services. We will notify you of any material changes to these Terms at least 7 days before they take effect.
Your Account & Security
Responsibilities when you register on vook.in or the VOOK App
To place orders or access certain features, you may create an account on vook.in or within the VOOK App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Accurate Information
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or placing an order. Providing false information may result in cancellation of orders and suspension of your account.
Password Security
You must keep your password confidential and not share it with any third party. You agree to notify us immediately at support@vook.in if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
One Account Per Person
Each account is for the exclusive use of the registered individual. You may not transfer your account to another person or use another person's account without their explicit permission.
Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently deactivate any account if we believe it is being used in violation of these Terms, or if fraudulent activity is detected, without prior notice and without liability.
We process account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will never ask for your password via email, SMS, or phone call.
Orders & Pricing
How orders are placed, confirmed, and priced under Indian law
All prices displayed on vook.in are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes (GST) unless explicitly stated otherwise. We issue valid tax invoices for all purchases.

| Order Confirmed | A binding contract is formed when we send you an Order Confirmation email with a unique order number. Until then, we may decline or cancel any order. |
| Invoice Issued | A GST-compliant tax invoice is issued at the time of dispatch. The invoice serves as your proof of purchase for warranty claims. |
| Dispatch | Risk of loss and title transfer to you upon dispatch from our warehouse, subject to our Shipping Policy. |
While we make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy, errors may occasionally occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund. We will notify you of any such error prior to dispatch. We do not charge more than the maximum retail price (MRP) applicable to the product.
Payment Methods
Accepted payment options and security standards
We accept a wide range of payment methods to make purchasing convenient for Indian and international customers. All transactions are processed through PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways.
We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express), UPI and wallets (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), and net banking. EMI options are available on eligible cards through our payment gateways; any applicable EMI charges are disclosed at checkout. All transactions are processed through PCI-DSS-compliant gateways (Razorpay / PayU).
VOOK never stores your full card number, CVV, or net banking credentials on our servers. All sensitive payment data is handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS-compliant processors (Razorpay / PayU). If you suspect fraudulent use of your payment method, contact your bank immediately and notify us at support@vook.in.
Copyright
Ownership of all content on vook.in and in the VOOK App
This website, the VOOK App, and their content — including text, graphics, images, product descriptions, and UI elements — are owned by Buy Box Retail or used under appropriate licenses, and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and applicable international laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

No right, title, or interest in any content is transferred to you as a result of downloading or otherwise accessing it. If you print off, copy, or download content in breach of these Terms, your right to use our website and App ceases immediately. We reserve the right to require you to return or destroy any copies.
Unauthorised reproduction or distribution of VOOK's content is a copyright infringement and may result in legal action. We actively enforce our rights and will pursue appropriate remedies against any misuse.
Trademarks
Use of the VOOK name, logo, and brand assets
VOOK is a brand name and trademark of Buy Box Retail. All VOOK logos, product names (AirMic, ClipX, MiniMic, MiniX), taglines, and visual brand elements are trademarks or trade dress of Buy Box Retail. Third-party trademarks referenced on our website belong to their respective owners.
You are prohibited from using any VOOK marks, logos, or brand assets in any manner — including in domain names, social media handles, advertising, or on merchandise — without our prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law. Permitted nominative fair use (e.g., saying "compatible with VOOK AirMic") must not imply endorsement by or affiliation with VOOK.
Unauthorised use of our trademarks — including in domain names, social media handles, advertising, or on merchandise — may result in legal action. We reserve all rights to protect our brand.
Viruses, Hacking & Downloads
Security obligations when using vook.in and the VOOK App
You must not misuse our website or App by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, spyware, keystroke loggers, or any other malicious or technologically harmful code. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, databases, or any connected systems.
Security Violations
Hacking, denial-of-service attacks, or introducing malicious code into our systems is a serious offence under Indian law. We will report any such breach to law enforcement and cooperate fully, including by disclosing your identity.
Downloads
VOOK makes every effort to ensure that all files — including firmware, App updates, and documents — available for download are free from malicious code. However, we cannot guarantee this absolutely. You download files at your own risk. We shall not be liable for any damage caused by infected downloads.
Linking to vook.in
Rules for linking to our website from third-party sites
If you wish to link to any page on vook.in, you must obtain our prior written consent by contacting support@vook.in. We reserve the right to withdraw consent at any time without notice.
- You must not frame or mirror any page of vook.in within another website without our express written authorisation
- Links must not suggest any form of association, approval, or endorsement by VOOK where none exists
- Links must not be placed on websites that contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content
- You must not deep-link directly to product images, firmware files, or other assets — links must go to a page on vook.in
Prohibited Uses
Activities strictly not permitted on vook.in or the VOOK App
In addition to other restrictions stated in these Terms, you agree not to use our Services for any of the following. Violations may result in immediate account suspension, referral to law enforcement, or other legal action.
Illegal Activity
Any use that violates Indian or international law, including fraud, money laundering, circumvention of export controls, or purchase for resale on grey markets.
Harmful Content
Posting or transmitting defamatory, obscene, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory content. This includes any content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
Data Scraping
Using bots, crawlers, or automated tools to extract product data, pricing, or customer information from vook.in without our express written permission.
Impersonation
Pretending to be VOOK, Buy Box Retail, our employees, or another user, or misrepresenting your identity or affiliation in any communication with us or on our platform.
Spam & Phishing
Sending unsolicited bulk messages, phishing attempts, or chain communications via our platform, review system, or by misusing contact details obtained from vook.in or the VOOK App.
Account Abuse
Creating multiple or false accounts, bypassing account restrictions, using fabricated identity information, or accessing accounts that do not belong to you without authorisation.
User Content & Reviews
What you submit to us and the rights you grant
You may submit content to our website — including product reviews, ratings, questions, feedback, photos, and other materials ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Buy Box Retail a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with our Services.
Your User Content must be truthful and must not infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others, or be defamatory, misleading, or harmful in any way. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these standards without prior notice.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You confirm that you have the right to grant us the licence above, and that your User Content does not violate any applicable law. VOOK does not seek confidential or proprietary ideas through User Content submissions — any idea or suggestion submitted via our platform shall not impose any obligation of confidentiality on us.
VOOK App — Additional Terms
Specific terms that apply to your use of the VOOK mobile application
The VOOK App is available on Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (Apple App Store). In addition to these Terms, your use of the VOOK App is also subject to the terms of the platform through which you downloaded it.
Your use of the VOOK Audio app is also governed by its own App Terms of Service and App Privacy Policy. Where those app documents conflict with these website terms in relation to the app, the app documents prevail.

| Media & AI Processing | Audio and video files you choose to enhance are uploaded to and processed on our servers to provide the AI enhancement service, and are then handled as described in the App Privacy Policy. Crash reports and anonymised diagnostics may also be sent to improve the App. |
| Termination | We may withdraw the App or revoke your licence at any time if you breach these Terms. Uninstalling the App from your device terminates your licence. |
If you download the App from the Apple App Store, Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, the Apple terms shall prevail for App Store-related matters.
Shopify Platform
Our website is hosted and operated through Shopify
vook.in is built on and hosted by Shopify Inc. By using our website, you acknowledge that your browsing and purchase data is also processed by Shopify in accordance with their policies.
Shopify provides the e-commerce infrastructure — checkout, payment processing, cart management, and order fulfilment tools. Information you submit on vook.in will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than India, in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Third-Party Links & Services
External platforms we link to but do not control
Our website and App may contain links to external websites, social media platforms, e-commerce marketplaces (including Amazon India and Flipkart), logistics tracking portals, and payment gateway interfaces operated by third parties. These links are provided for convenience only.
We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party platforms and accept no responsibility for them. When you leave vook.in or the VOOK App, these Terms no longer apply. We strongly encourage you to read the terms and privacy policy of every external site you visit.
Disclaimers & Accuracy
Limitations on the representations we make
Our website and App content — including product descriptions, specifications, compatibility information, and availability — is provided for informational purposes only. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that content is error-free, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose.
Product Descriptions
Product images are for illustrative purposes. Actual colours, dimensions, and accessories may vary slightly from photographs. Specifications are subject to change without notice due to product improvements.
Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to vook.in or the VOOK App. Maintenance, updates, or events beyond our control may temporarily affect availability. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime.
Limitation of Liability
The extent and limits of our legal responsibility to you
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Buy Box Retail and its partners, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our Services.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or your use of our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim, in the 12 months preceding the claim. This cap does not apply to claims arising from our fraud, wilful misconduct, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights as a consumer under applicable Indian law, including your right to seek compensation for product defects or misleading advertisements. Your statutory rights remain fully intact.
Indemnification
Your responsibility to compensate us for losses caused by your breach
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Buy Box Retail, its partners, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your breach of any provision of these Terms
- Your use or misuse of our Services, website, or VOOK App
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation, including Indian law
- Your infringement of the intellectual property or other rights of any third party
- Any User Content you submit that causes harm to a third party or violates applicable law
This indemnification obligation survives termination of your account or these Terms.
