AirMic
Wireless Microphone System
The VOOK AirMic Wireless Microphone delivers professional-grade recording quality. With its plug & play feature, no app is required. Ideal for online live broadcasts, video vlogs, program interviews, recordings, video teaching, and more.
✦ Plug & Play — No App RequiredOverview
The VOOK AirMic is a dual-channel wireless microphone system built around two transmitters (TX) and one receiver (RX). The transmitters clip onto clothing and capture audio with their built-in microphones, transmitting it wirelessly to the receiver. The receiver plugs directly into your device — no app or driver installation needed.
Engineered for creators who need reliable, broadcast-quality wireless audio, the AirMic keeps things simple: take the transmitters and receiver out of the charging case, connect the receiver to your phone or camera, and you're ready to record.

What's in the Box
Here's everything included in the AirMic box — all you need to start recording wirelessly right away.
Getting Started
Setup is instant. The AirMic transmitters and receiver come pre-paired — just take them out of the charging case, connect the receiver to your device, and you're good to go.
Initial Setup
- 1Remove both transmitters and the receiver from the charging case.
- 2The transmitter LEDs will begin flashing, indicating they are powering on and searching for the receiver.
- 3Connect the receiver directly to your smartphone, camera, or recording device using the appropriate adapter.
- 4The receiver and transmitter LEDs will turn solid once pairing is complete.
- 5Open your preferred camera or recording app and begin recording.
Using the Clip
Each VOOK AirMic transmitter features a secure integrated clip, designed to attach firmly to the edge of clothing such as a shirt collar, jacket lapel, or pocket. The clip provides a stable hold so the microphone stays in place throughout your recording session.
For best audio quality, position the transmitter as high on the chest as comfortably possible — ideally within 20–30 cm (8–12 inches) of the speaker's mouth.
Position the transmitter near the speaker's collar for optimal audio pickup
Using the Windshields
The VOOK AirMic transmitters include a pair of furry foam windshields designed to reduce wind noise and plosive sounds when recording outdoors or in challenging acoustic environments.
While the transmitters' built-in microphone grilles already provide a layer of wind protection, the included windshields offer an additional level of isolation — especially useful in breezy outdoor conditions.
Attaching the Windshield
- 1Hold the furry windshield with the opening facing the transmitter's microphone grille.
- 2Slide the windshield onto the top of the transmitter, aligning it with the microphone opening.
- 3Press gently until the windshield sits securely in place.
- 4To remove, simply pull the windshield off in the opposite direction.
Windshields slide directly onto the transmitter and can be stored in the charging case when not in use
How to Use
The VOOK AirMic connects directly to your smartphone or camera via the receiver. No app download or configuration is required — it works as a standard plug-and-play USB audio device.
iOS (iPhone / iPad)
Connect the receiver to your iPhone or iPad using the included Lightning Adapter. The built-in Camera app will automatically detect and use the AirMic as its audio source.
Android
Connect the receiver directly to your Android device's USB-C port. If your default camera app doesn't recognise the external mic, use the Open Camera app (free on Google Play Store) and configure it as follows:
- 1Open the "Open Camera" app from the Play Store.
- 2Navigate to the app's Settings.
- 3Tap on Video Settings.
- 4Select Audio Source and choose External mic (if present).
This enables the AirMic to be used as the primary audio source for all video recordings in the app.

Cameras & Other Devices
The receiver connects to any device with a USB-C or standard 3.5mm audio input. For cameras with a 3.5mm mic input, use a USB-C to 3.5mm TRS adapter (not included). The AirMic will appear as a standard external microphone input.
Charging
1. Charging the Case
Connect the charging case to a power source using the included Type-C cable. You can charge via a USB wall adapter, laptop, or power bank. The case indicator lights up while charging.
The LED indicator on the front of the charging case flashes while charging and remains solid when fully charged. The case provides additional charges for your transmitters on the go.
2. Charging the Transmitters
Insert the microphone transmitter into the charging case. The case indicator lights up and the battery symbol flashes, confirming the transmitter is charging.

You can also charge the transmitter directly using the provided Type-C cable connected to a power adapter or laptop. The red indicator light stays on during charging and turns off once fully charged.
LED Indicators
The AirMic transmitters and receiver use LED indicators to communicate every state — power, pairing, noise reduction, mute, echo, charging, and battery level.

Noise Cancellation
The VOOK AirMic features built-in Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), enabled by default. This intelligently reduces unwanted ambient noise — such as air conditioning hum, crowd noise, and traffic — to keep your recorded voice clear and articulate.
ANC is designed to work transparently in the background. In most recording scenarios, you won't need to adjust any settings — simply clip on the transmitter and the AirMic will handle background noise reduction automatically.
ANC Levels
| OFF | No noise reduction. Captures full ambient environment. Ideal for studio recordings or when natural room sound is desired. |
| Default (On) | Standard noise cancellation. Reduces moderate background noise while preserving natural voice quality. |
