1.User Agreement:

In using the www.vook.in (hereinafter referred as “we”, “our”, “us”, ”company”, “firm”) shopping service, you (The User) are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions listed below. The company reserves the right to add, delete, alter or modify these terms and conditions at any time. The User is therefore advised to read carefully these terms and conditions each time he or she uses our shopping service(s).

2. Delivery:

We commit to providing delivery within 24 hrs of the order purchased. However, the firm is not liable if in any case due to unwanted natural / man-made circumstances, we fail to deliver within 24 hrs of the order purchased.

3. Discounts:

All the discounts are decided by our team and none of the Discount and offers can be clubbed together. The entire discount will be authorized by only us.

4. Address Change:

Any changes to the recipient address would be entertained free of cost if they are requested within an hour of the order made. Although the address change is subjected to the matter of the fact that whether we are operationally delivering in that region or not. If in case we are not operationally active in the demanded address request then we’ll inform the User at the first instance itself. Change of address would not be possible for products after one hour of order dispatch.

5. Order Change:
Any changes to the order would be entertained with monetary adjustments if requested within an hour of the order made. Changes after that will not be entertained and order would not be cancelled. Cancellation charges of 10% are applicable on all cancellation requests and the amount will be refunded in 7 working days.

6. Delivery Product:
The book’s cover page, colour and other visual appearance cannot be guaranteed to be the exact replicas of the ones shown on site. Although the condition of the product will be the same as shown on the website.

7. Damaged deliveries:
We will cater to any reports of damaged products on the same day of delivery only i.e. within 24 hours of delivery of a product. The problem report must be supported and added with substantial proofs of the damage made to the product of delivery.

8. Delivery Rules:

a) Delivery will be made as per the delivery instructions. e.g. if delivery instructions state that the product must be delivered to the recipient only, it will not be given to anyone else and shall be considered delivered if a recipient is not available. If a recipient doesn't accept the delivery, we shall consider the order to be delivered. If a recipient is not available in the delivery address so he will have to authorize someone on his behalf.

b) We will be able to attempt delivery of your gifts only ONCE. In the event the delivery is not executed during the attempt, the customer shall still be charged for the order and no re-delivery will be possible. We will consider the order executed in the below cases:

Wrong shipping/delivery address.
Recipient not available.
Premises locked.
Wrong delivery address and landlines / Mobile number or Extension number which may render us unable to reach the recipient for the delivery.
Recipient refusing to accept the delivery.
Delivered the product at the Gate/ Reception/ Neighbor.

9. Dealing with Fraudulent Customers:
If we find out any fraudulent behaviour from any client in terms of wrong address, unethical message, odd delivery timings or any other reason, we hold the power to reject that order or ban that customer without being answerable to anyone.

10. Rules for unfounded recipient:
In case the final customer is not available for receiving the placed order and we have strict instructions to deliver only to the intended customer the order shall be considered delivered and no refund will be made. Please refer to Cancellation and refund policy for further details.

11. We hold the right to extend our services to any individual, organization, group or business unit. We may refuse to serve any individual, organization, group or business unit solely on our own will and we will not be answerable to anyone.

12. The company may amend its Terms & Conditions from time to time. These terms shall be governed by and constructed under the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles and disputes arising in relation hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi.

13. These Terms and Conditions, together with our Cancellation and Refund policy, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and other rules and policies posted on the site, which are hereby incorporated as if set forth fully in these Terms and Conditions, constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to your use of and material available on the site, and they supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals between you and us with respect to this site. Any rights not expressly granted in these Terms and Conditions are reserved.
